100 % Lagrein
Our Lagrein Dunkel is made of grapes growing in Gries, the south-western area of Bolzano where also our winemaking business is located. We pick selected grapes from various vineyards which to the largest part consist of old vines. After a considerate processing and fermentation at controlled temperature the Lagrein is maturing in large barrels of oak. After resting there for at least six months the Lagrein is bottled.
Colour: purple
Smell: The aroma recalls the smell of raspberries and amarellos.
Taste: The soft and full-bodied Lagrein Dunkel has a fruity density and little acid. Its characteristic aftertaste is bitterish and reminds one of dark chocolate.
Alcohol: 12,5 %
