100 % Lagrein
In recent years the largest part of Lagrein grapes were used for the production of rosé, which at that time was the most common retail wine. In the meantime consumers’ preferences and the wine production have changed and only a small part of Lagrein grapes – comprising however grapes of first quality – are now vinified as rosé. Our rosé is maturing in wooden barrels where is undergoes a malolattic fermentation.
Colour: Ruby
Aroma: A remarkable waft of strawberries and raspberries.
Taste: The Lagrein Kretzer is a rather untypical rosé since contrary to its usual lightness it proves to be full-bodied and corporal instead.
Alcohol: 12,4 %
